Dishwater Corn
29/09/04
To prepare dishwater corn, fill your large (20 cup or more) camp coffee pot with water and hang on tripod over fire.
While water comes to a boil shuck and clean five or six ears of sweet corn.
When water is boiling drop ears in for four to six minutes. Be sure to have enough fire so the runover won’t put it out.
Take the corn out with tongs and serve as usual with butter or mayonaise, salt, pepper, etc.
Use hot water remaining in pot for washing the dishes - hence Dishwater Corn.
